Here are some benchmarks that I was able to gather: I have tried increasing base CPU clock speed while trying to control thermals - to do so I deactivated simultaneous multi-threading - basically turning my 3900x into a 12C/12T again similar results as before - not a noticeable difference in frames but temps were better when running at 12C/12T.
